“Some wandered in desert wastes, finding no way to a city to dwell in; hungry and thirsty, their soul fainted within them. Then they cried to the Lord in their trouble, and he delivered them from their distress. He led them by a straight way till they reached a city to dwell in. Let them thank the Lord for his steadfast love, for his wondrous works to the children of man! For he satisfies the longing soul, and the hungry soul he fills with good things.” Psalms 107:4-9 ESV It is so easy today to find our hope and help in other places, but Psalms reminds us to cry out to God because he is enough. He will satisfy and restore. We look forward to Sunday Gathering as we prepare our hearts and remind ourselves that Jesus is enough. Join us at 10:30 AM. “Why are you cast down, O my soul, and why are you in turmoil within me? Hope in God; for I shall again praise him, my salvation and my God.” Psalms 42:11 ESV David was so honest with himself when he began to look at his own soul. Between Psalms 42 and 43, David repeats this statement to himself 3 times. Let this be a reminder today that whatever turmoil we are going through, whatever pain we are feeling, and whatever we may be struggling with, our soul will praise God again because He is good even when everything around us is not. He is our hope when we feel hopeless. He is our salvation when all seems lost. Join us this Sunday as we continue to dive into the Psalms. You can listen to our Spotify at https://spoti.fi/2PrlXpL
“My heart is steadfast, O God, my heart is steadfast! I will sing and make melody! Awake, my glory! Awake, O harp and lyre! I will awake the dawn! I will give thanks to you, O Lord, among the peoples; I will sing praises to you among the nations. For your steadfast love is great to the heavens, your faithfulness to the clouds. Be exalted, O God, above the heavens! Let your glory be over all the earth!” Psalms 57:7-11 ESV We look so forward to tomorrow to sing praises to God during our Sunday Gathering. We are so thankful for His steadfast, never ending, never failing love. You can listen to our Spotify at https://spoti.fi/2PrlXpL
“For I am sure that neither death nor life, nor angels nor rulers, nor things present nor things to come, nor powers, nor height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord.” Romans 8:38-39 ESV We know that nothing can separate us from God’s Love. We look forward to singing tomorrow about our Father who has taken us in and called us His children. Nothing can take us away from His love. “You know the enemy can’t take what I have, change who I am, I belong to You.” (Iron Bell) You can listen to our Spotify at https://spoti.fi/2PrlXpL
“"Everyone then who hears these words of mine and does them will be like a wise man who built his house on the rock. And the rain fell, and the floods came, and the winds blew and beat on that house, but it did not fall, because it had been founded on the rock. And everyone who hears these words of mine and does not do them will be like a foolish man who built his house on the sand. And the rain fell, and the floods came, and the winds blew and beat against that house, and it fell, and great was the fall of it."” Matthew 7:24-27 ESV This week let’s listen closely to God’s word as we build our life upon Him. He is our firm foundation that we can cling to when storms come. Let’s praise Him for being the Solid Rock for which we place our trust, our hope, and our lives on Him. Join us at Sunday Gathering this week to lift Jesus’s name high. You can listen to our Spotify at https://spoti.fi/2PrlXpL

“In You, O LORD, I put my trust; Let me never be ashamed; Deliver me in Your righteousness. Bow down Your ear to me, Deliver me speedily; Be my rock of refuge, A fortress of defense to save me. For You are my rock and my fortress; Therefore, for Your name’s sake, Lead me and guide me. Pull me out of the net which they have secretly laid for me, For You are my strength. Into Your hand I commit my spirit; You have redeemed me, O LORD God of truth.” Psalms 31:1-5 NKJV Today let us put our trust in God alone. He is our fortress, our defense, our strong foundation who never fails us. Join us this Sunday as we ask the Father to lead and guide our hearts. “Search me, O God, and know my heart! Try me and know my thoughts! And see if there be any grievous way in me, and lead me in the way everlasting!” Psalms 139:23-24 ESV As we prepare our hearts, today let us ask God to search our heart. Let’s ask him to try and know our thoughts, so that God can continue to mold us into his image. Let’s be vulnerable before the Father as he searches our hearts and mind, so that he can make us more like him. Join us tomorrow at Sunday Gathering! “Now the Lord is the Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom. And we all, with unveiled face, beholding the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from one degree of glory to another. For this comes from the Lord who is the Spirit.” 2 Corinthians 3:17-18 ESV This week as we worship the Trinity, let’s find freedom in every part of Him. Let’s find freedom in our God who is the forgiver and good Father. Let’s find freedom in the Son, Jesus, who paid the ultimate sacrifice on the cross and bore our debt. Let’s find freedom in the Holy Spirit who is dwelling within us and is the Helper who intercedes for us. Let’s find freedom in Him! You can listen to our Spotify at https://spoti.fi/2PrlXpL
“For this perishable body must put on the imperishable, and this mortal body must put on immortality. When the perishable puts on the imperishable, and the mortal puts on immortality, then shall come to pass the saying that is written: "Death is swallowed up in victory." "O death, where is your victory? O death, where is your sting?" The sting of death is sin, and the power of sin is the law. But thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.” 1 Corinthians 15:53-57 ESV We are so thankful that we find victory in Jesus. We are thankful that death was defeated by Jesus Christ, and because of that we get to sing of the freedom Christ has brought to our lives. We are thankful for His victory because “that’s when death was arrested and my life began!” Join us Sunday is thanking our Father for His victory that changed our destiny. “The steadfast love of the Lord never ceases; his mercies never come to an end; they are new every morning; great is your faithfulness.” Lamentations 3:22-23 ESV Great is God’s faithfulness. We are so grateful to serve a faithful God who continues to be faithful to us even when we may fail him. Let’s join together tomorrow as we praise Him and thank him for his steadfast love that never ceases. You can listen to our Spotify at https://spoti.fi/2PrlXpL
“I thank him who has given me strength, Christ Jesus our Lord, because he judged me faithful, appointing me to his service, though formerly I was a blasphemer, persecutor, and insolent opponent. But I received mercy because I had acted ignorantly in unbelief, and the grace of our Lord overflowed for me with the faith and love that are in Christ Jesus. The saying is trustworthy and deserving of full acceptance, that Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners, of whom I am the foremost. But I received mercy for this reason, that in me, as the foremost, Jesus Christ might display his perfect patience as an example to those who were to believe in him for eternal life. To the King of the ages, immortal, invisible, the only God, be honor and glory forever and ever. Amen.” 1 Timothy 1:12-17 ESV It is always a great reminder that Christ came to sinners and restore what was broken. We look forward to tomorrow in lifting all the honor and all the glory back to the one who saves, Jesus Christ. You can listen to our Spotify at https://spoti.fi/2PrlXpL
“And entering the tomb, they saw a young man sitting on the right side, dressed in a white robe, and they were alarmed. And he said to them, "Do not be alarmed. You seek Jesus of Nazareth, who was crucified. He has risen; he is not here. See the place where they laid him. But go, tell his disciples and Peter that he is going before you to Galilee. There you will see him, just as he told you."” Mark 16:5-7 ESV Mary and Mary Magdalene were prepared to take care of the body of Jesus with spices. They believed that this was the end of Jesus. The news of his resurrection was overwhelming to them. In the same way, let’s allow Christ’s resurrection to overwhelm us. Instead of being quiet though, let’s let this amazing news be proclaimed to the world. We know now that we serve a God that is risen, and one day he is coming back again. The way, the truth, and the life.. Jesus, our Risen King. You can listen to our Spotify at https://spoti.fi/2PrlXpL
We are so thankful for the cross. As we sit and remember Christ’s death on the cross today and tomorrow, let’s also remember that on the third day he rose again in victory. Join us this Sunday to celebrate our Resurrected King.
“For we ourselves were once foolish, disobedient, led astray, slaves to various passions and pleasures, passing our days in malice and envy, hated by others and hating one another. But when the goodness and loving kindness of God our Savior appeared, he saved us, not because of works done by us in righteousness, but according to his own mercy, by the washing of regeneration and renewal of the Holy Spirit, whom he poured out on us richly through Jesus Christ our Savior, so that being justified by his grace we might become heirs according to the hope of eternal life.” Titus 3:3-7 ESV It is always so comforting that it is because of Christ and his sacrifice that we have eternal life. We aren’t called to be perfect because he was perfect in our place. We ask God to focus our hearts on him. What amazing grace and unfailing love our Father continues to pour over us. We will see you tomorrow at Gathering! You can listen to our Spotify at https://spoti.fi/2PrlXpL
“He committed no sin, neither was deceit found in his mouth. When he was reviled, he did not revile in return; when he suffered, he did not threaten, but continued entrusting himself to him who judges justly. He himself bore our sins in his body on the tree, that we might die to sin and live to righteousness. By his wounds you have been healed.” 1 Peter 2:22-24 ESV We are thankful for the perfect savior who died in our place on the cross. We look to the empty grave knowing that our King is coming back again. “O praise the name of the Lord our God, O praise His name forever more.” Let’s declare this for the rest of our days on earth as we praise the God who gave himself as a willing sacrifice so in return we could have a relationship with Him and send the praise and glory back to Him. Thank you God, for dying in our place. We will see you tomorrow at Gathering! You can listen to our Spotify at https://spoti.fi/2PrlXpL
“Praise the Lord! Praise God in his sanctuary; praise him in his mighty heavens! Praise him for his mighty deeds; praise him according to his excellent greatness! Praise him with trumpet sound; praise him with lute and harp! Praise him with tambourine and dance; praise him with strings and pipe! Praise him with sounding cymbals; praise him with loud clashing cymbals! Let everything that has breath praise the Lord! Praise the Lord!” Psalms 150:1-6 ESV Let’s praise God for everything He has done and for who He is in His greatness. “It’s Your breath in our lungs, so we pour out our praise to You only.” Let’s let His breath in our lungs be more than enough of a reason to lift praise back to Him. We will see you tomorrow at Gathering! You can listen to our Spotify at https://spoti.fi/2PrlXpL
